Hi there,

I have successfully installed the plugin and enabled it at the backend. However, my virtuemart backend is same as before.

Could you help to solve this issue?

Versions:
VirtueMart 3.6.10 10211
Joomla 3.9.18

Thank you.

Hi did I do something wrong? It seems that everyone can get it worked except me...

Could you provide a link to the tutorial or instruction?

Thank you.

Hi Frantisek,

I did check that post out before asking support. However, nothing happened after I did all steps listed in that link:

Go to Admin Joomla > Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Upload Package File tab.
Click the Browse button and select the zip package on your computer. Click the Upload File & Install button.
Go to Admin Joomla > Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Plugin Manager -> Open VMADMINLAB plugin.
Publish this plugin from plugin manager

As shown here, the plugin was successfully installed and enabled:
https://mrkr.io/s/5eaaf45ba152b5369b053941/0

And Isis was selected for the admin backend:
https://mrkr.io/s/5eaaf4b7ff11cb3700a08ab2/0

But the backend is still the same:
https://mrkr.io/s/5eaaf4fa6eff1079fe1a3a4d/0

I have even updated the js file you provided about 2 weeks ago as mentioned at:
https://www.linelab.org/support/template-vmadminlab-sidebar-menu-does-not-work

but still the backend is the same.

Anything I have done wrong?

Thanks,

Unfortunately the support didn't respond to this request at all :(

I have to come back manually and check whether a solution is available.

Thank you for your reply! An email with backend login information has been sent to the email you provided.

Once you have figured out the solution, could you please let me know what was the issue, so that I can apply it to the production site?

Thanks again!

Hi all

I have the same situation as Barry. I installed the pluging and followed the instructions. But nothing changed in the VM backend.

@Barry: did you get any news?
@support: please provide us a solution

Thanks & regards

Thomas

Hi Thomas, What version of Virtuemart are you using? We tested it on the latest version of VirtueMart 3.8.6 and we were not able to reproduce this problem.

Hi Frantisek

I use Virtuemart 3.8.6 and Joomla 3.9.22.

I just tried again, but same result - no change on the Virtuemart backend.

As i had the same issue after installing i checkled the system plugin order. As i use yootheme in addition with vmuikit the solution was to put the plugin right in front of the vmuikit override plugin. so i think when you put the plugin at first it should work in every case.

there is a small optical glitch on the joomla subhead buttons when activated.
you have to put this little css in any of your backend styling if this bothers you:

.btn-small {
padding: 0 10px !important;
}
